New facilities open and include a new purpose build classroom space, new storage areas including a flood storage area upstairs, kitchen, children’s bathroom, disabled bathroom facilities and meeting rooms.
2018
Lismore City Council granted an additional 15 metres of community land into the park area for the establishment of gardens, including a bush kinder space to be developed into the future.

Awarded a NSW Department of Education capital works grant which allowed for the extension of the preschool premises

Lismore Preschool marks 75 years of serving the Lismore community with enrolments continuing to grow throughout this period

Lismore Preschool marks 50 years of serving the Lismore community
1958
The Preschool moved into its current location in Brewster Street at the cost of £4,150 on council land. Thirty-two children were enrolled and the first Director was Miss Margaret Longhurst of Sydney
1955
Lismore City Council granted the sum of £400 and made a block of land available in Brewster Street, the site of the current Preschool.

Lismore Preschool opens in the Scout Hall in Magellan Street
